Introducing CliniSys: Helping healthcare organisations thrive.

The CliniSys Group, combining CliniSys and MIPS, is a market-leading provider of laboratory information management and order communications software in the UK and Europe. The company plays an important role in empowering healthcare professionals to test, diagnose, and treat millions of patients, both through the NHS and private companies.

Over time, the innovative firm discovered a need to update its digital presence, ensuring it could deliver exceptional experiences to customers and highlight the unique proposition of the brand. They decided to relaunch their website with the help of the Fabrik team.

The brief

Planning and perfecting CliniSys’ digital transformation.

Despite success in its market, CliniSys struggled with an outdated digital presence, damaging its ability to connect with customers and drive brand awareness. When the company first approached Fabrik, they were focused on revitalising their web presence. However, our discovery sessions with key stakeholders revealed a need for a more comprehensive strategy.

We discovered clear requirements for consolidation, bringing multiple sites and domains together into a single Group website, tailored to the modern user journey. Our experts uncovered gaps in the brand’s existing SEO strategy, as well as issues with their visual identity, which lacked clarity and consistency. This led to the development of a comprehensive plan for refreshing the CliniSys brand.

Developing a dominant digital identity.

During discovery sessions, we established the firm’s core goals and aspirations, outlining the technical process of consolidating multiple sites and streamlining user journeys. Our team audited the existing sites for search engine performance. We then introduced new keyword strategies, and implemented comprehensive technical SEO solutions to boost the visibility of the brand.

To enhance the image of the CliniSys brand, we proposed a re-drawn logo and new colour palette which reflected, refined, and enhanced the company’s existing visual identity. We created new series of visual assets, from photos to typography and icons, and built a fresh website frontend and theme based on these updated assets.

Our journey with CliniSys was based on comprehensive collaboration. We handled technical tasks, from building bespoke functionality into a WordPress CMS, to enabling multi-language content distribution. We also helped CliniSys develop fresh content for their website, with step-by-step support and SEO insights. Fabrik provided all the guidelines, technology, and visual identity components required to refresh the CliniSys digital identity.

The result of this comprehensive project was the development of a new website that not only ranks better in the search results, but delivers better experiences to users. What’s more, CliniSys now benefits from a more cohesive, consistent visual identity, capable of reflecting its core values.
