MinervaX

A revitalising visual identity for a biotech visionary.

Overview

A biotech revolutionary on a mission to save lives.

MinervaX, a clinical-stage biotech company, is committed to developing a world-changing prophylactic vaccine against Group B Streptococcus (GBS). Eager to revolutionise the medical world, the company aims to fill the need for a novel vaccine that prevents adverse pregnancy outcomes, protects foetuses in utero, shields newborns for up to 3 months, and defends non-pregnant adults.

Already making waves in their sector, MinervaX’s vaccine could be a life-changing solution, combatting infant mortality, offering broad protection to all adults, and eliminating over-reliance on antibiotics. With an already stellar reputation in place, MinervaX turned to Fabrik to revitalise and revamp its existing image.

The brief

Revitalising the MinervaX brand image.

MinervaX charged Fabrik with the task of revitalising their visual identity, building on and enhancing their current reputation in the biotech space. The new identity needed to resonate with the expectations of the company’s target audience, while differentiating the brand from the competition. It needed to showcase credibility, and professionalism.

Given the life-altering nature of the firm’s vaccine, we needed to ensure that the new branding strengthened MinervaX’s authority, spotlighted its future ambitions, and captured attention. Our goal was to make MinervaX look and feel like a true leader in a sector where reputation, authenticity, and trustworthiness are paramount.

Our input

Creating a cohesive and consistent visual identity.

Building on the impressive assets already created by MinervaX’s team, we designed a memorable new logo mark, and set of visual guidelines. The logo, a type-mark featuring an arrow pointing towards the letter “X” symbolises the company’s progress towards its life-saving goals. The blue colour palette and modern typography represent reliability and a contemporary personality.

Throughout the project, we consulted with the senior management team, conducting workshops and developing comprehensive user guidelines covering logo usage, tone of voice, messaging, typefaces, colour palettes, image styles, and more. Fabrik also designed and developed a new website, creating a digital hub where MinervaX can promote its new identity.

Our output

A fresh look for the future of biotech.

The Fabrik team successfully delivered an exciting new visual identity for MinervaX, introducing an evocative logo, a powerful set of guidelines, and a user-friendly website. Our comprehensive approach to research, collaboration, and creative consultation ensured we could give MinervaX the tools needed to elevate its presence in the biotech space.

With its refreshing new appearance, and the strategic guidance necessary to implement its new image across multiple channels, MinervaX is ready to take its next step into the future. Every team member now has the assets, training and insight required to ensure this company remains a true market leader.
