  2. Social media is very important to all brands now, regardless of industry. Consumers and businesses expect you to have a social media presence so that they can contact you, read about what your company is doing in the world, what your company is thinking, what you deem interesting etc. Equally as important though, is choosing the right platforms to do this on. For example, Snapchat is fantastic for a clothing brand or a company that travels a lot and goes to a lot of events; whereas Twitter is great for a company who wants express opinions, knowledge and work on becoming leaders in their industry through showing leadership of thought.
