Gilles Guilbert
Gilles Guilbert is Fabrik’s Director of Business Partnerships, responsible for building meaningful client relationships and driving the agency’s growth.
With a career spanning leading global agencies like Wolff Olins and Design Bridge, as well as his own consultancy, Cyrano New York, Gilles has worked with some of the world’s most recognisable brands, helping them develop compelling identities and strategic direction.
How did he get here?
Originally from France, Gilles spent many years in London before settling in New York, where he now calls home. His international experience gives him a unique perspective on branding, blending European creativity with the fast-paced demands of the US market.
As a regular contributor to Brand Fabrik, Gilles shares insights on branding, creativity and business development, offering a wealth of knowledge to marketers and business leaders looking to shape the future of their brands.
What drives Gilles?
Beyond branding, Gilles brings his own brand of Gallic charm to the Fabrik team. A jazz enthusiast and saxophone player, he finds inspiration in music’s ability to tell stories – much like a great brand. He’s also an accomplished photographer, capturing cityscapes and moments that often go unnoticed.
When he’s not in meetings or behind the camera, he fuels his day with impossibly strong coffee and unwinds by playing jazz saxophone. And if you happen to be in Manhattan, you might spot him weaving through traffic on his Vespa, embracing the city’s energy at full speed.
