Prismo

Repositioning
restores trust for
an industry pioneer.

After years under various corporate owners, Prismo’s 2023 management buyout presented a chance to reclaim their identity.

2023

The company that pioneered reflective road markings in 1935 still made the best products in the market. Brighter, more durable, longer lasting.

1935

But customer relationships had suffered. Independence meant they could rebuild trust on their own terms.

TRUST
challenge

Reconnect a heritage brand with its loyal customers.

Prismo’s products were never in question. Their reputation was. Years of corporate ownership had created distance between the brand and the people who relied on it.

challenge

We needed to reposition Prismo as the personal, dependable partner the industry remembered.

And we needed to expand perceptions beyond traditional road marking to capture their full range of ground marking applications.

approach
Find the insight
that unites product
and promise.

Through workshops with the new ownership team, we discovered genuine affection for Prismo still existed throughout the industry.

We landed on a powerful dual meaning. Every physical mark must endure, and so must the Prismo brand.

“The mark of enduring quality” became our strategic foundation, uniting product truth with brand promise.

OUTCOME

An evolved visual identity that honours Prismo’s heritage.

We refined the globally recognised red lozenge logo – preserving its essential DNA while modernising proportions and typography

OUTCOME

The supporting identity brought the enduring quality theme to life through colour, typography, and distinctive ground marking illustrations.

For Vernisol, Prismo’s Italian brand, we created integration solutions that maintained local equity within the broader Prismo family.

A bespoke website and comprehensive brand guidelines gave Prismo everything needed to relaunch with confidence.

Following our management buyout, we needed a partner who could help us reconnect with the industry and rebuild relationships that had suffered under corporate ownership. Fabrik helped us rediscover what made Prismo special in the first place – the heritage, the quality, the personal service our customers valued. Through workshops with our leadership team, they landed on 'the mark of enduring quality', a positioning that captures both what our products do and what we stand for as a company. The new identity feels like us again – only sharper, clearer, and ready for what's next.
