Overview
Writtle College, which specialises in agriculture and is now a partner college of the University of Essex, has been providing land-based courses since it was established in 1983. Faced with increasingly stiff competition for students, Writtle’s marketing team wanted to evolve the College’s existing brand and visual identity to align it more closely with its corporate goals and objectives and make its communication more effective and consistent.
Outcome
Before the re-branding programme, Writtle College was perceived as a well-established college, offering vocational education in all aspects of agriculture – a ‘nice’ place to study, but with no ‘wow’ factor. Fabrik’s re-branding programme helped to improve internal motivation and morale, reduce staff turnover and attract the highest calibre of employees and students. We also ensured the brand could be used to provide maximum impact for college marketing activities and promotions within the education sector.
