Overview
The University of Surrey is an international education provider with a worldwide reputation for excellence in teaching and research. Fabrik was briefed to provide spatial problem solving and design solutions for signage of routes and visual identification of high profile spaces and functional areas. As part of this exercise we were required to maximise the impact of environmental branding and manage application across wayfinding design.
Outcome
We developed a signage solution that provided the most efficient movement of people around internal spaces. We visually separated and identified various blocks without relying on building names and created a ‘look & feel’ for the wayfinding system that projected the best possible impression to visitors. Our input has not only helped enhance the built environment, it’s strengthened the appeal of the University through creative application of the visual identity.
