Royal Albert Hall

Photography, copywriting and graphic design combine to create a compelling suite of literature for one of London’s most famous venues.

Overview

Royal Albert Hall is one of London’s finest arts venues. Following a £70m refurbishment programme, and the launch of a new brand identity, Fabrik was appointed to help build on this as the lead creative agency.

A few moments inside the Hall reveals the significance of the architecture and history of the venue. Fabrik’s aim was to reflect this across all literature design and communications.

Outcome

Initially, Fabrik shot a range of close up images, focusing on interesting and unusual architectural detail, both in and around the Hall. These were brought to life using accompanying facts and statistics that informed readers and captured their imagination.

The new photo library helped us to create a suite of literature that feels both modern and traditional, using white space to produce a stark contrast, making publications and journals easier to read.
